Norman Blashka has over 20 years of CFO experience with several small and mid-size privately-held and publicly-traded media companies, including five startups. He was most recently EVP and CFO of Salon Media Group, from 2008-2012. As CFO, he has helped a number of online media companies in their fundraising efforts, while guiding them to eventual profitability, including 24/7 Real Media, Vizible Corp, and Operative.com.
He previously worked in financial management positions with major media companies such as Warner Amex Cable and Cablevision, after starting his career with what is now KPMG. Mr. Blashka, a CPA, has an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia University, and a BA in Economics from SUNY New Paltz.
